Revamp

It's been about time to revamp this place. I went for a more sophisticated and simple look than the last theme. As you can see, I haven't done much since April but that was because of school and personal life. Yeah, I know... growing up sucks. Anyhow... I'm proud of my new dropdown navigation. You can look around freely and leave me a comment or two in the guestbook.
Another thing that is interesting is that I've threw away the Frame/Iframe designs cause of the results of a poll I made not so long ago. It was about preferences between table/div and frames. Table div received around 80% of the overall votes. To be honest, I prefer making the table/div designs, so yeah... that's what I'll be doing. Sometimes in the future if I come up with something well for frame layouts... I just might do it :)

Updates

For this month, I'm planing on doing two very beautiful deisigns. One is almost finished and the other is still waiting for its graphics approval. Of course, you all know that I'm a sucker for simple, visually adequate designs lately so that's what the other two will be.
I have one more update to add here... namely, there's a new section open in the Layouts. It's called Portfolio so in case someone would like something like that, you can order freely.

NEW TUTORIAL

I created a new Photoshop tutorial that teaches how to create a certain style of signature. The render I used is Sasuke from Naruto. I am actually making a similar design right now. I just love how the design turned out to be so I had to make a signature as well. I might even make an avatar when I find the time, but we'll see about that. Too busy with the university and my job at the moment. So, take a look at the new tutorial that can be found in the Tutorial Section!

UPDATE

Two days ago I realized I made a mistake while I was making this design for Callisto. Apparently, it wasn't displaying well in different resolutions (mine is usually 1024x768px). So today I've finally fixed this. I have two different layouts in mind so I'll make the graphics today and finish the designs tomorrow after I come home from the university.

NEW LAYOUT

Finally, I created a table/DIV layout for everyone to see and download. It's a simple layout in modern oriental style. I used zemotion's image called "of the night". You can read more about it in HERE.
Furthermore, Callisto banners for affiliation are also done. They can be found HERE, meaning when you click on any of the "Apply" links below, you will be able to see them.
Also, I've added three of my older signatures I made a few months ago and still like them. The one that I particularly like is the "Raven" one (Tekken). Take a look at it yourself!

CALLISTO IS READY!

It's about 10:29 AM right here. I have work to do, but I woke up earlier to finish Callisto. I also added three tutorials I made in October and December of 2007. Of course, a lot more tutorials will be found here. So, check them out in the Tutorial Section! !

ALMOST FINISHED!

The weather outside is very bad and I went to the oculist's today. I bought a new frame for my glasses and should be expecting them on Tuesday. All ready I have a headache now that I am without them. That aside, I completed a great deal of Callisto today. Added submission and affiliation forms. Now remains the "Report a broken link" form. I also added the guestbook so visitors can start using them at once if they want. I still have a long way to go. On Sunday I am planing to fill out the content of the website. I have some nice tutorials and brushes to put up. Still no layouts. Callisto has worn me out for this week. I might make the banners for affiliation tomorrow early in the morning. They will be found in the Affiliation section which you can reach by clicking on "Apply?". I think it was enough for today so I'll probably shuffle along to my bed.

CALLISTO IS BORN

Making my own web site that provides web designs has been my wish for some time now. However, I didn't want to start anything before I was sure in my HTML/CSS skills. So this is how Callisto was born at last. To be honest, the beginning was the hardest. But, aren't all beginnings hard? I didn't want the design to resemble the one on my Lady Makai blog design site, but I kept thinking about flowers and plants. I must be going through an "artist flower phase" LOL. So I ended up with a beautiful photo of a Middle Eastern woman. More about that you can read in the "Current Theme" section. At long last I finished the design, finished the content and am proud to say that I like the final appearance of Callisto Design! But, enough with the talk. Go ahead and look around!

	WELCOME TO CALLISTO DESIGN! Callisto Design (CD) is a relatively new site that focuses on aesthetics and education of web design. It also provides free layouts and graphic resources (photoshop brushes, signatures, avatars) to the visitors. Furthermore, there are several very useful tutorials found in the Tutorial section.
